Resizing storage partitions? MSI Primo 81

A couple months back I picked up an MSI Primo 81 tablet on the cheap. It works well enough for what it is I guess, but in a move that just baffles me, MSI decided to only partition 1GB of it's 16GB storage as "internal". The rest shows up as "sd card" even though there is not in fact an sd card present. Of course this presents a problem in that for also inexplicable reasons Android sure doesn't like you to use an sd card for programs....No, we need those 32GB sd cards for pictures or some such crap. Anyway, is there an easy way to reclaim some of that additional space back to "internal"?

Hi,
did someone solved the problem?

So much storage could not be used because only 1GB internal storage! All posible moved to sd. November more apps can be installed! :thumbsdown:D:

When you install an app do you actually (have to) choose which partition the app will be installed? "Internal Storage" can mean several things in Android depending on versions and in context, and not necessarily a physically separate partition.
