resizing lots of pictures?

i'm looking for something to resize a lot of pictures that i have that are way too big. just to put up on a website. like from my digital camera.

anyone know of such programs? i got photoshop 7 and acdsee 4 but i can't figure anything out on them that resizes many pictures at the same time.

thanks.

There's this thing called "droplets" in photoshop/imageready. They allow you to create a macro using the recorder and then place a droplet icon on your desktop. You can then drag and drop a folder onto the droplet and it will process all the images. It's easy, just read the manual.

You can also use ACDsee. Go to browser mode, select pictures you want to resize, click the edit button on toolbar (which brings up a mini-toolbar), then click the the resize button on the mini-toolbar.

Fotocanvas must be installed (I think) -- it's included with ACDSee 4.0.
