Resistor for Power LED Header

I figured this was more of a case issue than a motherboard issue. Is there an easily installed header resistor that will allow you to cut the brightness of a power LED light in half? I'm imaging something that would go in between the the header on the motherboard and the plug that's wired to the LED in the case. The brightness of the LED in some cases is just insane, so I was hoping for an easy way to dim it.
