Resident Evil on the GameCube $39.99 - Target.

Pricematch at Best Buy who is selling it at $44.99 (as per their web site price)

$39.99 - 10% Best Price Guarantee ($5.00 - 10% = .50 cents) - $5.00 coupon in EGM and/or Maxim Magazine = $34.49 before taxes!

Enjoy!

Just make sure you bring a witness and a lawyer to keep your @ss from getting arrested!

This is a great deal on one of the best games to come out for the GameCube. I have not purchased a console yet I am waiting for the supposed price drop after E3 when the PS2 drops. Has anybody heard any more about this? I hear the GC will go down $50 after the PS2 goes down $100.:D

The coupon is in issue 52 of MAXIM (Leonor Varela cover) on page 52. As far as EGM, the coupon can be found in issue 155 (SOCOM: Us Navy Seals cover) on page 37.

Someone told me that Best Buy gives you 10% off the price but I do believe it is 10% off the diffence.

As far as the console price drop... I do believe Nintendo said it would wait for Sony to make its first move. Many believe Sony will make the drop sometime at E3. Since I have a GC already, I got a PS2 less than a month ago with my AMEX in hopes that at E3 we will see the price drop. Hopefully I will be able to price match it and enjoy it almost 2 months for the same price.

I read in USA Today that PS2 sales are so good they don't need to drop prices yet...

But, the same article goes on to say that XBOX sales in Japan and Europe are flat out sad... and even the XBOX sales in the U.S. have dropped.

Generally Best Buy will not PM and allow you to use a coupon. It's one or the other.

I just read that yes a price drop may be announced at E3 but will not be implemented until August in time for the holidays. Also Nintendo will not be cutting the $49 price tag on it's games anytime soon but may have a greatest hits line like the Playstation in the future.
