I just started playing through the game on veteran and I can't even get past the first portion with the executioner, there's way too many zombies and Sheva's a dumbass but I don't want to play with another player the first time because I want to explore at my own leisure 
The game is awesome but a little over the edge, I just wish coop was optional, Sheva gets in the way (or killed) way too often, not to mention she wastes precious ammo shooting at walls and fences.
Anyways, for the reviewers and people who say RE5 is easy... **** them, they obviously haven't played on Veteran with RE4 controls (no strafe) and AI Sheva. I'd thought the game would be a breeze because the demo was fairly easy and I've beat RE4 quite a few times but man I was wrong.
What are your thoughts on RE5's difficulty? Is it intense all the way through?
