edit: ugg shipping is pretty high, around 6.90 for me which totally killed it for me and made it $48
 
Damn sorry to hear that ground shipping to me only brings it to $42 for me even overnight shipping doesnt bring it up past $48.
 
For anyone in Canada, Futureshop will have it for $49.99 Can. You can pricematch at BB and get the bonus disc as well.
 
Does anyone know if anything on the damn site qualifies for this fabled "free shipping"? Dealrush.com claimed that it was applicable on the item, but I'm not about to click "Submit order" so I can see a last second deduction in cost from $48.xx.

And I did check out the local Fry's (Concord) today and last night. As of today they've removed the little "RE4, $39.99" plaque and from the looks of it never recieved the shipment instead of being sold out. Maybe others will have more luck, but I'm definately stuck with having to pay full (ha!) or waiting around for another sale.

Truth be told, I asked around on IRC after my comment and was told they were backordered to February anyway. So I'll either score a copy at full price tomorrow at Best Buy or just wait a few weeks in hopes of a sale.

But since Fry's and Outpost are essentially the same, this makes me wonder if any of their stores will have copies in stock.
 
yea i got an email saying that its on back order and when i went to fry's today they said they never got a shipment which is wierd

Got this game today. I bought my Game Cube when the system launched, but if you don't have one, this game is reason enough by itself to get one.

Well, so it Metroid Prime 1 & 2; but seriously, THIS GAME ROCKS!

96 composite score at Metacritic. Even GameSpot gave it a excellent review.
 
This game actually had my girlfriend and I jumping....so she told me not to play it around her anymore. 🙁 Sucks, 'cause I don't want to play this game alone. 😉
