Resetting on Windows Load...

My computer would randomly reset maybe once or twice every two weeks before... But now it is resetting everytime I load windows. I get to see the desktop and then about 2-3 seconds into the loading it reboots... I'm thinking this is a motherboard problem? I have already replaced my PSU and that didn't change anything... All fans going no heat issues I don't think.

Any suggestions?

I'll probably start to pull and test components this weekend /sigh :(

TIA

These are my specs: http://www.anandtech.com/mysystemrig.aspx?rigid=24816

Mobo/CPU are about 2 years old.

Try to see if it will boot into safemode.. if it does the same thing try switching out ram dimm slots.. i've had similar problems that was caused by bad ram... there is a free program called memtest that you can check out and run it on your ram.. Its a bootable program u run from cd... Try to see if it will hang up or give you errors... takes some time to run sometimes so might be faster to try by dimm slot. hope it helps *shrugs*

If it can get into safe-mode, try to get into the my computer (system) properties. Click the Startup and Recovery button in the advanced tab. In the popup uncheck "Automatically restart." Then, the next time you crash, it will give you a BSOD pointing you a little closer to the source of the problem. If it doesn't, it's purely hardware related.

Reformatting did the trick, I was able to boot into safe mode...

What I think happened is that my OLD psu either died or I was drawing too much power making it reset it corrupted the boot sector, repaired using recovery console but everytime I loaded windows it reset, I ended up with about 3gigs of chkdisk files when I was actually able to get back in... I think too much stuff got corrupted on the windows drive because all the restarts... Anyways all seems fine now.
