Resetting CMOS

I don't know of any means to reset the CMOS without physically jumping the reset pins. Incidentally, what PC has a tamper proof seal? Don't all PCs allow you to open the case?

stealth2009: gotta break the seal, take the side off to do the pw/cmos reset.

Cr0nJ0b: prebuilt pc's: dells, hp, etc. if they're seald then you can void the warranty

You cannot void the warranty just by breaking the seal. HPs are tricky, it says Warranty Not voided by breaking this seal. You are allowed to add cards, drives, memory, etc. and you have to break the seal to do that too. Don't worry about breaking any seal on a commercial box.
