Reset UDMA_CRC_Error_Count

Anyone know how to do this in the SMART counters for Hitachi 7K2000 and 7K3000 hard drives? Reset the UDMA_CRC_Error_Count parameter?

I had mine hooked up to the Sandy Bridge SATA controller with bad SATA cable, and now there's dozen of errors. Replacing the cable made the errors go away -- but the drive's SMART data still shows lots of UDMA CRC error events.

Linux solution preferred if at all possible.
