Reset button needed to make video card work

I just installed a Visiontek GeForce 2 GTS card in my Abit KT7-Raid board and when I booted all I get is the blank screen and the beep code telling me the obvious that my video card is not working. My Asus 256 DDR works without a problem on the same system. I did boost my I/O to 3.5v but still no luck! So After pushing the Power button I tried hitting the reset button and voila the card works and I'm up and running. This happens everytime I want to boot up. Card works great while running (7402 on the 3D Mark 2000) but weird way to turn on the computer. Ordered a new Enermax 350 power supply just to see if that is the problem. Have a Sparkle 300 now which should not be the problem but I,m out of ideas. Have the latest Beta Bios for the Abit WZ01. Any ideas for this strange behavior? Thanks for any info.
