you can use hong kong or singapore priceline site to book hotels, there is some type of asian travel forum try google

well..if ur planning on sight seeing and checking out the crazy places..

shibuya and shinjuku are the places to stay..

not knowing any japanese is quite hard to get around in japan by urself...

there arent alot of english speakers in japan.

but dont worry...u will definitely see alot of white and black ppl in tokyo...

most of them are bilingual too.. u can always ask them for help.

i went to yokohama one night... chinatown.... it's like 45 min from tokyo city.

roppongi i didnt go to.. it was last on my list... and didnt get to it.
last because the impression of it to me from what i read back then was it's one of the more westernized neighborhoods in Tokyo, I guess I was not interested in exploring a area that although is 'hip' has been 'infiltrated'... shrug.

Inguyen, just how good a hotel you looking for. they got cheap NO meal hotels... you share showerrooms with other guests as opposed to having one within your suite, and it's not in the best of neighborhoods... meaning boring and quiet at night.
