Imagine you have an LCD monitor with a dead pixel or two. Now imagine you want to sell that monitor and get another one. You have a dead pixel, is it worth a hundred dollars less?

How much do you think a dead pixel affects the resellablitly of a monitor, have you ever sold one with one and how did it affect your selling.

Depends on screen size/location/status of the pixel (dead/stuck on a certain colour/stuck only for certain colours).

For a 17" or 19" screen, a dead/stuck pixel can be annoying (they can also be near invisible). At 20" and above, they start to be come insignificant and unnoticeable IMO (unless in a really bad location).

It depends a lot on the location of the dead/stuck pixel. Near the edges is hardly worth mentioning, but if it's right smack in the middle of the screen, then it is a major eye sore IMO.
