I've kinda been considering getting a reseller account to make it easy and streamlined to sell hosting to people. I'm pretty experienced with maintaining and running my own boxes, but reseller hosting is damned easy and it wouldn't be hard for me to get customers. Any thoughts on who is the best one to go to? I don't wanna be buying from a reseller buying from a reseller buying from a reseller..

Enough space to sign up a few dozen people at first, then expand as needed. Enough bandwidth for them all. Speedyness. Quality prices. I want the go-daddy of resellers.

Budget would probably depend on how many I had hosting at the time, the more I'd be hosting the more money I'd have for the bandwidth and space. Figure I want a good deal for my money so I can turn a decent profit.

HTTPMe, or Clook and Idologic as previously mentioned.

There are more inexpensive alternatives, but those three rank high as far as quality is concerned. Some of the more inexpensive alternatives would include Sonataweb, Telnap, and Dot Simple.

Always remember RossMAN's advice: you get what you pay for.

There are about 20 of them but you're probably thinking of DeviousTrap

I also offer web hosting but I have two rules:
1) Never host an AT'er.
2) Only cater to the untapped local web hosting market where there is virtually no competition.

I have heard some negative and positive things about hostgator, but this appeals to me:

Turn Key Reseller Solution

All of our reseller plans come with a free billing manager by whmautopilot, free merchant account, free optional hosting templates to use, and a free enom domain reseller account. This combo provides you with a completed web site that allows visitors to signup from your website, pay you instantly, and automatically have their account created within minutes.

I can handle the website design myself (I want to look a little different than most webhosting sites that all look the same) but the merchant account and billing manager and domain reseller sounds pretty cool.
