Lookin to build bang for buck C2d system. Months ago I was going to bd an PD 805 setup and overclock as a rookie builder. THen core duo's came out and I've managed to be patient and wait for MOBO's etc. My dell P4 2.0ghz with 256 RDAM$$$$ is killin' me. can't play anything more complex than diablo2.
planned uses:
casual gaming, RPG's like WOW, oblivian
casual movie editing, DVD burning and photos
will probably do some overclocking once I learn how.
plan on spending roughly $1200-1500
At this point I'm shot. Sick of lookin at all this
stuff, mobos, ram, vid cards. Lookin for a "recipe" so I can bite the bullet.
components I have/previously purchased include:
1- antec sonata 2case with 450w PS (which I may need to replace?)
2- zalman 9500 LED heatsink
3- Seagate 300G HDD 7200.10 (perpindicular)
4- monitor is gateway 21 hd ready etc.
lookin for straight forward builds other people have made to make my life easier. Thanks in advance.
