research paper on content control

i was assigned a research paper regarding an issue within my major (computer science). i chose to write on content control on the Internet.. im partial complete freedom.. what yall think? maybe gimme some hot topics to write on..

Here's one:

Challenges in online censoring -- it is now becoming computationally feasible for ISPs to censor traffic on their networks based not only on routing information, but on content. It starts with Bittorrent or other file sharing, but the floodgates are open for censoring of other media -- video, www.mycompetitor.com, you name it. And, at the moment, its all legal (a court recently ruled that insertion of an artificial TCP closure on behalf of the customer to end bittorrent connections doesn't constitute fraud.. I believe it was comcast -- if anyone has the link, please post). What has enabled this trend? What can be done?
