I'm supposed to write a research paper and I would like to write about examples of war where the soliders on one side rape the women of the other side in order to spread their own ethnicity and to wipe out the opposing ethnicity. I remember some stuff from World War II but my mind is drawing a blank. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
 
Okay, maybe not so much of spreading ethnicity, but the Japanese soldiers when they marched onto Nanking in 1937 raped many women of that city.
 
My thought would be the Mongol hordes of the late Roman era, but I'm not so sure about their spreading of their genetic heritage.
 
They did that during WWI if my memory serves - the area around Turkey had horrible massacres and "ethnic" cleansing as well - I'd go out on a limb and say that the masscre was as bad as, if not worse than, the atrocities committed during WWII.

In Rowanda - that stuff is still going on as well - you might want to check out what happened in Kosovo as well. These atrocities . . . it's the most evil thing I've seen - and I've only watched/read about what's going on. I'm not a religious man by any means, but I hope that the ones who are the victims on such horrendous acts (understatement, by far) are at peace now . . ..

You may also search for war in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Fairly recent news, should be plenty of info on the Web.
