Research books about memory and neural networks?

I am deeply interested in finding some good books, or online info about the brain, mainly concerning memory and neural networks, and how physical relates to the mental psyche of a mind. I guess that may not be specific enough, but I was wondering if anyone here could toss me some good titles or links.

I have googled a little bit, but I am strapped for time right now and I just figured I'd ask you all in HT to see what I get.

This isn't quite a "research" book, but it is an interesting read.

Phantoms in the Brain by VS Ramachandran. You'll also find a link to "Synaptic Self" by Joseph LeDoux, which might be more what you're looking for, but I have yet to read it, so can't speak for it.

There are thousands of books written that include that subject, but it is very poorly understood so... tread with care.
