Resale Value... iPad's

How do you predict resale values to hold? Will carrier branded, with the chips and GPS hold on to a better resale % than just plain wi-fi models? just wondering what your opinions are...

no sales ever = resale value always good

I think depreciation on iPad2 will be the same as iPad1 (ie depends if you get out before or after iPad3 is announced)

MacMini prices are stable as fuck.

alot of folks realize the massive gain of the ipad2 is very real. if i can get $500 for a used ipad1 to upgrade to ipad2 and keep my unlimited data plan - that's not bad for the gains. but until they can JB ipad2 i'm gonna chill. its functionality is still redundant with iphone/macbookair/ispot hacked

The resale value of the iPad is affected by the knowledge that it spent as many hours in the bathroom as its owner did.

Note that the base model refurb iPad is now under $350 US, with full 1 year warranty.

Thus, I wouldn't touch a used iPad 1 unless it was around $250. Actually, I won't consider the iPad 1 at all, because I think it's too slow.
