I can't seem to get Asus Suite ii software to install from either the disk that came with my MB or from the Asus website. I have a 2500k chip and a P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3. Currently I am running windows 7 home, and had previously updated my bios to version 3402.

I originally had the Asus Suite installed on my computer with no problems. Possibly I am missing something from my reinstallation of windows 7 from last night (because I'm paranoid about Virus/Malware)? Although, I am fairly certain I have installed all of my drivers with the exception of the 2500k HD graphics.

*When I click the setup application Windows prompts me like usual. I Click Run. It prompts me again, and again I click run. However, nothing happens after that.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I've never seen an installation issue on this program. Are you sure the setup files aren't corrupted?

Try downloading the setup again.
Try clearing out your temp files.
Try disabling virus/malware protection while installing.

Ok, I'll try that and see if it works any better. :)

Ok, I tried downloading it again and it did not solve the promblem. I ran the compatability check from windows and it says that it isn't compatible with windows 7, which makes no sense to me.

Which version of ASUS suite are you trying to install?..latest version I think is v10225.

You can get latest version from here http://www.overclock.net/t/1042186/asus-z68-series-information-thread-drivers-bioses-overclocking-reviews-updated-6-15 .

Just select your model and click on "spoiler warning",has all latest drivers /software etc...

Btw try this solution here (last post) http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?board_id=1&model=P8Z68-V+LX&id=20120225013427961&page=1&SLanguage=en-us

Awesome! Thanks for the help! It is installing right now! :)

Jeez i remember trying to install this. Very common problem.

And in the end... you don't need it. Overclock via bios, or the tpu button, the rest ? no use. Especially fan control - it's just bonkers.
