Just saw the movie .. didn't know it was edited til I restarted the DVD. What did I miss? Anyhow, great movie .. any thoughts?

It's a great movie. Although not in a very common way. Near the ending was very scary..

Very cool movie. I just bought it this weekend. I felt like i was tripping on acid while watching it... not that i ever tripped but i believe that's what it'd feel like. I almost wanted to turn it off because it really freaked me out.

I'm guessing they edited the girl/girl scene. I saw the unedited version only, maybe I should rent edited version too. ...but then again, don't think I can watch this movie again. too scary

Please, do not describe the movie to him. Im not doing this to be mean, I want you to enjoy the movie. Its definetly one of the best dvds you will ever purchase. I encourage you to get the directors cut, and not the edited version at Blockbuster. The movie just isnt the same.....

Personally, I couldn't even watch the movie all the way through! I couldn't get passed the 'sequence' (you who've seen this movie know what I'm talking about).

Ellen Burstyn, the woman who played the Mother, deserves a friggin Oscar! She freaked me the HELL OUT!

Whoever liked this movie, I would recommend you watch 'Dead Ringers' (if you haven't already)...Another 'Disturbing' movie.

OK, now I have to watch this movie. My dad rented it the other day from blockbuster, but it was on VHS so I really didn't want to watch it. Is the DVD from blockbuster edited too? I don't really want to buy the movie just to watch it, but I'd like to see it.

Ya, Blockbuster only has EDITED vhs/dvd version.

Are all rented versions the edited version? We also have Hollywood video around here, I wonder if they are the same. Sounds like a cool movie, but definetly not something I would watch over and over again, I'd rather rent it than buy it.

If it says &quot;DIRECTORS CUT&quot; in yellow at the top

Can somebody PM me on the stuff that was edited out? I saw it on DTV, and the only part that would really be edited out would probably be the girl/girl scene, but even that wasn't too risque.

And yes, see the movie. It's not so much scary as powerful. Just think about what the title is: 'Requiem for a Dream'. Very sad movie.
