Origin: Knoxville,TN
Destinations: Dallas (to visit family), Grand Canyon, Zion, Moab, Royal Gorge, Columbia, MO (family); we may stop in Albuquerque.

Participants: Myself, wife, 10 yr old daughter (adventurous), 14 yr old son (adventurous)

It has been awhile since I have been out west. I am thinking 10 days but may have to may extend, as it is a long trip.

What I am looking for are things to do at the destinations, besides the obvious ones, that are not outrageous, but offer good memories and visuals. Probably going to Super 8 it for the most part.

I would appreciate suggestions around those beautiful areas. Perhaps next year, we can get to Yosemite 🙂

TY.

Albuquerque?

That's a lot of driving for 10 days - you're not going to have a whole lot of time in any one place.

This.

I'd cut that list of destinations in half and spend more time in the places that made the cut. Trips where you're constantly in the car or in a rush to get from one place to the next are no fun for anyone.
