I have tried on numerous occasions to get a few questions answered, but for some reason no one ever answers them and instead offers up other suggestions. If you know the answer to this question I would appreciate it, if you would answer it.

I have a Tyan Tiger mobo with two T'bird CPUs installed with hs/fans. Other than the power supply, this is all that I attached to the board. No memory. No video card.

I turned the power on, and the two hs/fans went on. I left this running for a few hours. After letting it run, the heatsinks were both warm, and the bottom of the mobo where the CPUs were located was also warm.

Question: Since both fans worked, and the heatsinks and mobo got warm, does this indicate that the board "recognized" the two T'bird chips, and that they are running properly?

Thanks in advance for the answer to this question!

It means nothing. Dead chips will produce heat also. I really dunno what you're trying to prove....
