Request for Resume advice

I'm graduating this spring so the job hunt starts. I have been fiddling with my resume, but the second half is looking pretty crappy. I don't know how to convey the same information in a cleaner/easier to read format. My worry is that after about halfway it becomes to hard to read, and you have to try too much, and once you have to try to read it then it will get tossed in the "no thanks" bin.

My advice is: look at a MS word resume template and recreate that format on MS word in a seperate document, changing stuff here and there so it looks original. Then use fill out that document with your resume info. A good format will clean up your resume plenty.

Remember the 15 second rule. You need better formatting. The lengthy descriptions can be there but don't have them clutter the main points.

Whats is PFOS?

Usually I have been told to place employment with most recent at the top, yours appears to be backwards in that you want your present job at the top.

Are the project school projects or work projects? What were the results? If work projects how did they help, list them with the work. So if you picked a packet crafting tool what difference did it make. It feels like the projects should go with where they come from, school projects with coursework and work projects with employment list.

The skills list feels very laundry list for a fresh grad. This is ok for electronic resume when searching by keyword but for a paper resume or a resume you email to someone it looks like you listed every piece of software or technology you ever touched. I'd narrow it down to what is relevant to the job you are applying for, you will probably have multiple resumes if you are applying to a wide variety of jobs.

Also remember whoever sees this will spend only a short time looking it over and if the top of the resume doesn't grab them thats it so make sure whatever it is you want to emphasize is at the top. The resume is a tool to get an interview the interview is where you tell your whole story and background. You want it to sell yourself as being worth talking to.
