Can you extend the length of time posts are held on this topic before being dropped? I needed some info from a post that is only three days since it's last reply but it's already gone. I would suggest holding onto topics for at least a week.

Interesting; I hadn't noticed that until now. I wasn't aware there was a cutoff date for forums; I was used to that being user-configurable.
 
What do you mean by "gone"? It's still there, it's just not on the front page. Either serch for it page-by-page or use the "search" feature and search for it by keyword. I use the search and get hits from back in 2000 all the time. If the topic is older than 90 days you need to do as ChefJoe suggested and search the "Archived Messages" as opposed to the "Current Messages". HTH.
