Request: Consolidate Fermi threads

getting a little crowded here in video land.
some of the nv "announcement" threads directly overlap the "release date" threads. Given the rampant speculation leading up to actual reviews, we don't need all these threads.

Can we combine/close a few?

Hehe yes consolidating the Fermi threads would make actual Fermi reviews and objective benchmark data appear.

Seeing as how all of ATI's new generation of cards except for the 5830 have been reviewed and Fermi isn't out, we really don't have much else to do besides speculate and argue over minutiae. Don't take that away!

I agree with both Gorobei and Scooter at the same time.

too early for an "official Fermi" thread IMO. By the time GTX 470/480 launches, this thread would be 40 pages long and about as worthless as a turd of equal length.

Maybe an "official Fermi pre-launch thread" and then another post launch for benchmark discussions.
