Request: Alcoholic Punch Recipes

Having a party tomorrow with about 2 dozen people. Going to be 100 degrees out! Looking for some good alcoholic punch recipes that I can quickly make. Nothing frozen. Would ideally like to mix a bunch of stuff into one of those multigallon Gatorade type containers you see at sports games.

Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks!

Start with two gallons of whiskey. Add ice. Consume. Everyone's a winner!

Or you could go with the basic Hawaiian Punch with rum in it, which, while probably more approachable for your guests, is way less badass than a couple gallons of whiskey. Vodka lemonade is pretty easy too.

Why nothing frozen? Blended margaritas/daiquiris are AWESOME when it's hot outside.

my brother likes his brass monkey recipe:

1 handle white rum
1 handle vodka
1 gallon pineapple orange juice
1 bottle cooks dry champagne

might have some triple sec in it, pretty sure it has 3 liquors. it will do the job. he typically makes it in a gatorade cooler

Stick with the jab, hooks or uppercuts will turn into haymakers and you're as likely to hit a wall as your target under the effects of alcohol.

Initially trying to stay away from frozen drinks so that I am not behind a blender all day. But I am open to ideas. I'll lookup the other drinks you all suggested so far. Thanks.

You can blend pitchers of frozen drinks early and store them in the freezer. But I'm sticking with vodka lemonade; it's great on a hot day, it's super easy to make and it works well in a big punchbowl with ice.

And not the shit with soda in it. Red wine, rum, orange juice, sugar, lots of cut up fruit. I've got the recipe around here somewhere if interested.

the rum punch i had in barbados was the best punch alcohol i've ever had.

Cold duck is my favorite.


Chill two bottles of Pinot Grigio (Something of the Ecco Domani variety works well) and two bottles of dry sparkling wine (I prefer Freixenet). Cut up a fresh pineapple.

(you might want to keep chilled bottles of both on reserve, as this punch tends to go quickly)

Put a few tablespoons of sugar in a large punch bowl. Add the four bottles and pineapple. Give it a good stir.

Add plenty of ice.

1 part Bacardi O
1 part Parrot Bay coconut
1-1.5 part pineapple juice
A few dashes of Grenadine

Its fucking delicious and will get you shitfaced. You can add some OJ as well if you wish.
