So I have a few classes that I need to buy books for and I was wondering if anyone here ever bought them online for cheaper than college bookstore prices...if so, where'd you go?
i went through half.com a buncha times and all books arrived in good time and never got jipped. only delt with reputable sellers. also used efollet and they were good about getting books to ya but would occasionaly run out of stock and not update their website :/
I've used BestBookDeal in the past and it's almost always found much cheaper books than the campus bookstore. It searches multiple sites (Amazon, Half, etc) and lists all the prices. Typically the best prices come from Amazon Marketplace or Half.com.
Eventually someone comes into these threads and mentions: www.addall.com
Give it a try; it's "yet another site" that searches a ton of other retailers (including half.com, amazon, etc.) It's also the first site that did that.
