Reputable LCD resellers?

Jim Bancroft

I'll be shopping for an LCD soon and wanted a few reccomendations on where to go. Price is important of course --I'm looking for 17", 12 ms screens, midrange stuff-- but my top priority is a reputable vendor.

I generally shop at Newegg for components but their dead pixel policy is too much for me to swallow; your LCD has to arrive with EIGHT duds before they take it back?? No thanks.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've purchased 5 LCDs from NewEgg for work, and not a dead pixel in any of them. I also bought my BenQ from them, without a dead pixel. The only other "reputable" vendors that I use are mwave.com, and zipzoomfly.

great dead pixel policy (no dead pixles) and next day air ship if your monitor is broken. I bought a 955DF from them and they sent me no less than 2 replacements and offered to credit the cost of the final monitor to another monitor if that didnt work.

wonder what happened to their site though
