Repurpose Quanta WJ7 motherboard

Hi all

I have just acquired a HP all in one pc from a neighbor with a broken screen. I would like to reuse all the internals for one of a couple different projects I have in mind but I am not sure how to go about a display.

The motherboard, Quanta WJ7...HP calls it Armand, has a lvds interface (I think).

I know the cable that connects the motherboard to the lcd is lvds on the end that connects the panel, but I am unsure if the other end is considered lvds or not.

Is there some type of hardware interface that would connect to the motherboard and allow a hdmi or dvi connection or do I just have to buy a new panel.

I scoured google and found some connectors that will turn a working lcd into a monitor but nothing that will adapt to the motherboard...if that makes sense.

Thanks for any advice, tips, tricks or help!!

@trac3rbull3t Thanks...I'll give er a look!

@Hi-Fi Man How would I know if custom or not. I have looked at the specs hp provides , where under internal connectors it lists 1xLVDS...thats as detailed as it gets...lol. I've tried the manufacture site Quanta but no luck...maybe I will have to contact HP. Thanks for your help Hi-Fi Man!
