If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!

If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Democrat wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Democrat’s demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Democrat demands that the rest of us pay for his.

Was this forwarded in an email from your uncle or something? You don't seriously believe this nonsense, do you?

As a few counter examples I could say this:

If a Democrat is a believer, they quietly go to church.
If a Republican is a believer, they want to force you to live by the rules of their church.

If a Democrat doesn't want to have gay sex, they don't.
If a Republican doesn't want to have gay sex they try to throw you in prison for doing it.

etc, etc.

Those two examples are every bit as stupid as the ones you listed, but at least I'm aware enough to realize it.

Nothing says I copied and pasted an email I had forwarded to me like Time New Roman font. This is not politics or news, it's the tampon string of a crying vagina. Grow up little mitchel.

I think you'll find the American people have long since favored forcing themselves upon others. So not only are those actions less repugnant than you expect, but Republicans favor their own tyranny in other ways.

It would be inherently flawed to look at either political party as good or evil. They have their policy which has positives and negatives, but the largest negative is when they collude on many things I disagree with.

If you don't want tyranny of the majority you're going to have to support and vote for Libertarians. You may find some hiding among the major parties, but generally speaking if you don't like where this country is headed you've got to vote third party.

This has some truth to it.The Republican party is busy steadying up the sights of a gun at their own foot right now.

A Republican is rich, he/she will use the government to make more money for themselves and their partners.
A Democrat is rich, he/she will force the other rich to give up their wealth for the poor.

A Republican is a closet case homophobe, he/she will use the government to arrest homosexuals for doing anything with another homosexual in the privacy of their own home.
A Democrat is a closet case homophone, he/she becomes a comedian.

A Republican hears a knock on the door at 2 am, he/she opens the door and then shoots the person on the other side in the face.
A Democrat hears a knock on the door at 2 am, it's probably their drug dealer.

A Republican has loud "urban music" played in his/her general direction, he/she guns them down.
A Democrat hears loud "urban music" played in his/her general direction, he/she has just found a new drug dealer.

A Republican uses land that does not belong to him/her for 20 years, has multiple court orders telling him to GTFO and owes millions for using said land - is a freedom fighter!!
A Democrat uses land that does not belong to him/her for 20 years, has multiple court orders telling him to GTFO and owes millions for using said land - is Burning Man attendee.

A Republican demands they decide what a woman does with her body.
A Democrat demands they decide what a woman does with her body,... by giving the stripper an extra $50 in the champange room.

Wait, you think rules against killing and stealing originated with the bible? How wonderfully naive.

Well liberals seem to think that rules against same-sex marriage originate from the bible.

Despite the copious examples of obviously non-Christian countries(Japan, China, India, etc) banning it as well.

A Republican is a bigot; he/she is expressing his/her freedom of speech.
A Democrat is a bigot; he/she is refusing to accept the Republican's view.

As fun as it would be to crush the exact same stupid and irrational arguments that you always make about same sex marriage yet again, I'll pass. You're just too irrational.

If a Republican refuses to tolerate any belief other than their own; he is being intolerant.
If a Democrat refuses to tolerate any belief other than their own; he is being tolerant

I am not making an argument for or against same-sex marriage.

I am saying that if you think opposition to same-sex marriage originates from the bible then you must also think that laws against murder and stealing also do.

The parties are a little more different than that. Republicans are far from libertarian but they are for smaller overall gov't. That's what the shutdown bit was all about last fall and at other times. They were willing to severely damage the party due to their conviction to this principle

A Republican will push for protecting the sanctitiy of marriage - eventhough he/she is unfaithful (which proves how adamant and passionate they really are!!).
A Democrat will push for protecting the happiness of two people who want to love one another - eventhough they are not of the opposite sex,... or even same color.
