Well the scumfucks did it without a single Democratic vote. I would like to thank the Democrats for getting this right. I would like to give a big FUCK YOU to the mainstream media for spending 99% of their time on Russia while draconian shit like this sails through our Congress. Expect net neutrality to fall next and massively higher bills to access a non-throttled internet within a year or two.

They divert us with the circus while they plunder us and it works to perfection.

The reason this didn't get much coverage was because of healthcare, not Russia. Almost all the coverage this week was over healthcare.

Seriously though, how many conservative voters would support the concept of allowing corporations to spy on their internet browsing history and then to provide that history to third parties for millions of dollars. This is something that nearly NONE of the American population supports and the Republicans ram it through with apparently no consequence to their status in office. Remarkable.

My bet is an approval poll would show this at 10% or less. It doesn't matter to the GOP though. They are bought and paid for by corporate donors. They are 100% corrupt.

I've been VPN'in since 1989 .. oki, maybe not. There is only ONE way to combat this, as with *everything* else, with information. VPN business should bloom under this and the ads should be pretty self explanatory: "You want big black dildos with that order sir? Or would you like your private parts private then go here vpns.com"

Edit : I've been on this with friends for years, they all think me paranoid, we have no idea what the fuc we are selling off here, its our very freedom and democracy. This is very real and happening right now with firms like cambridge analytica, the moment an AI understands you better than you do yourself you are an easily manipulative target, how many ads, how many dollars, does it take to turn John Doe from ballot A to ballot B? Freedom is what is at stake and its easy to gamble with when we have it! To take it back is going to be another story!

I think this is great and exactly what America deserves.

All of them will support this. Fox News is probably busy telling them right now that this was necessary to combat the liberal powerhouses like Google and Facebook
