Yep. District 12 disagrees with us and is resisting. Destroy them.

If you read the founder's writing on the 2A, it's pretty clear what their intent was. The private citizen has an individual and corporate right to defend themselves.

- Slam illegal gun owners
- Put a * next to the names of violent kids (like the kid that shot up Parkland in FL) so that they can be flagged in a background check. Don't have to unseal their records; just indicate that they are a potential risk and should not be allowed to buy guns.
- Flag people with public profiles that would indicate a potential for violent behavior for a deeper background check. This might catch people like the 2 shooters from last weekend.
- Stop being squeamish and flag people with certain mental issues. Just look at the profiles of many of the mass shooter perps.
- Decriminalize pot and find a better way to deal with non-violent drug offenders.

There are other things, but that would entail actually involve trying to solve certain social issues in this country. Some will never really go for that as it might actually work, thereby eliminating a perpetual victim class that certain people make a living out of exploiting.

Asks for a plan, then tells him what the plan is, lol...

The 2A is open to interpretation. Republicans are not the only ones who can pack courts. Americans will eventually get sick of madmen with guns mowing down dozens of people at a time and vote for change. Democrats pack courts, interpret the 2A differently, pass legislation accordingly.

The 2A was meant to protect the citizens from a centralized government suppressing the plebes. It's says absolutely nothing about what guns the plebes can own. As it is, our country has changed so drastically since it's origins that if the feds ever wanted to attack the masses, even the amount of guns we have.now would do little to stop it. Some bring a knife to a gun fight, others bring a gun to a bomb fight.

You quote me at the bottom, so I can't really tell exactly what part of what I said you either agreeing or disagreeing with. Either way, the text of the 2A is indeed open to interpretation:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/second_amendment

The text of the 2A is short and sweet. It specifically indicates a well regulated militia and a free State:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

The funny thing is that Republicans generally oppose stricter checks and decriminalizing pot. So, no matter how you want to curb gun violence, you have to vote Democrat to have a chance of it happening.

Why aren't you taking that up with Rep. Keller? This thread is about a conservative Republican politician who blamed everyone she hates for the shootings except the shooter, but you twisted that into the other way around. Gee, I wonder why you did that..
Because i disagree with Keller.
