OK? So how do you get guns off the street and out of people's homes?
They'd be criminals if they didn't comply with the mandatory buy back program, so they'd get jail sentences if caught in possession of the outlawed arms. In the case of using the gun in a criminal act, they'd get life sentences with no parole. Remember. this is for semi-autos only to start.

What happens if people straight up refuse? Like you get less than 1% compliance rate? Do you literally go door to door to armed citizens and attempt to take the weapon (or the citizen) by force? That won't go well.

The law abiding owners would comply, those that didn't would be afraid to let it be known that they possess a banned weapon. Offer rewards to those that turn in non-compliers, like they do with tax cheats. Eventually their ammo supply will run out and they'll be left with a gun they can't fire.

So what word or phrase would you call a person calling all people from a country rapists?

He didn't call all Mexicans rapists. He was referring to some portion of the illegal immigrants coming here. You are working from false information.

Again, this is how the political/russian influencers work. They disparage the left with divisive
rhetoric and put in their "views" of America, and what it should be. Why StPetersburgSlow thinks

You guys nuts. Its no ones fault but the person doing the shooting. Period.

Then Charles Manson never would have been convicted of anything. Period.

You guys just refuse to accept the abject fact that Trumplings are simply the contemporary version of the Manson Family.

Nope, not with people like this fighting their "enemies" dishonestly at every chance they get.

p9Y8K0l.png

Yep, looks like typical mating behavior of the contemporary Manson Family.

Observe the well-fed, slow-to-walk male (a particular sign of virility in the species) extend one of his right mating horns as a signal to local females that he is ready to copulate. Already, a nearby female of the species, distinguished by her featureless face, which signals a lifetime of endless sitting and yelling-at-TVs (projects a life of luxury and the preferred "I don't give a fuck about anything" attitude among competitive Trumplings), hollers her satisfaction at this male display in a deep, growlish yawp. Here, captured mid-yawp, the mating call and response will soon be followed by some labored breathing and choking, and a delicate struggle with her accessories to find her breathing aid nebulizer.

Someone said he called Mexicans rapists, I believe they even said, "all." That isn't correct. He was talking about some of the illegal immigrants that are coming here. But keep fighting those ghosts of racism you lefties create yourselves. You righteous warriors.

LMAO. Wow. Yea.....

What is funny is I would blame Facebook and Twitter before I'd blame any of those things.

I will say I think media definitely plays a role though, but not in the way Trumpanzee spins it.

This^^^^. I would actually blame this before a lot of other things.

One of the elephants in the room that doesn't get a lot of coverage is the influence of media. Both social and regular news coverage.

It really struck me a few years ago when I saw a detailed, HD colored photo of the Charleston scum-bucket being led around in an orange jump suit in chains. Technically, it was an excellent quality photo. But it also looked like something the paparazzi might take if Justin Beiber (or some other tabloid celebrity) emerged from a club while out drinking. A 'badboy" picture, with him at the center of attention. The killer was getting millions of dollars in free advertising, and the news media just couldn't help them$elve$ but to cover it, and post things like "here is a list of the worst mass shootings and where this one ranks.". Inspiration for copy-cats.

I haven't seen it yet, and wonder where I could find the info. But I wouldn't be surprise to see a pattern between the rise of things like youtube and frequency of people gaining instant frame from (insert latest fad or funny video), and the frequency of mass shootings and coverage. I found some data that kinda supports that from the 1990's when the internet was still young, but taking off fast (murders down 40%. Reporting up over 500%). But haven't seen it for social media popularity.

My plan starts with banning all semi-automatics, except for police and military. That includes speed loaders for revolvers. Strict limits on ammo sales and reloading supplies. Buy back programs for semi-auto currently in possession, with penalty for not complying. This won't affect hunters and will definitely slow down mass shootings. See where we are after this is implemented.
You do know that there are hunting and target firearms that are semi-automatics don't you? And low round count magazines are produced for such usage. Ruger Firearms for example only sells limited capacity mags for their Mini-14 sporting rifle to civilians.

Certainly a possiblity for part of the problem. Look at all the people who do things other than shoot people on video and post it (or live) to facebook and youtube, then get busted. People want their 15 minutes and think they are untouchable. Likes are like drugs.

30 rounds, factory original-

You can buy this as an after market accessory-

Anything that has a drop magazine can be similarly outfitted, even handguns.

didn't see it. I think I skipped a page.

I don't ignore people.

actually no, I don't see it. HomerJS was the first to bring it up, post 50
https://forums.anandtech.com/thread...s-in-our-country.2568446/page-2#post-39892573

and since then, I don't see you responding at all. I looked at all of your posts after that, none of them responding to HomerJS or that topic.

Edit, oh, lol, it was brought up earlier, by Snoopy.

So you said: "Very different circumstances."

holy shit man--are you this useless?
here's what you claimed initially:

The person that pulled the trigger is the person responsible, period.

In a discussion about cultists cajoling people into doing their bidding (Henry II has been brought up many times in regard to Trump, for very obvious and very relevant reasons), you simply claim that, in that argument, all on its own, regardless of anything, the person pulling the trigger is the only person responsible. Period. End of Story. DONE! DISCUSSION OVER!

....Manson.

./.NUH UH! SO VERY DIFFERENT GRRHHH DIFFERNT WRONG!!

Seriously, explain how it is, in any fucking possible way, at all fucking different. Just do it.

Why aren't you taking that up with Rep. Keller? This thread is about a conservative Republican politician who blamed everyone she hates for the shootings except the shooter, but you twisted that into the other way around. Gee, I wonder why you did that..

Stop lying you stupid fuck.

He said "I assume some of them are decent people". Which means MOST are rapists.

When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
