Republicans not doing full FBI background check on Pete Hegseth. Should that be disqualifying?

Is a watered down FBI background check disqualifying?

Qualifications simply don't matter to any of Trump's cabinet picks because Trump believes they're all going to be taking direct orders from him anyway. All they're there for is to occupy their positions as messenger stooges relaying orders from the White House without nary a hint of protest or reservation.

How these hacks, these sycophants can humiliate themselves that way is beyond me. They all know that inside the beltway, they're mere lackeys without honor, without shame, without the quals to actually oversee the operations they're supposed to lead. I guess the pay and side perks they're getting must be attractive enough to swallow their pride and bend over forward waiting for the affirming reach around that somehow justifies their debasing themselves that way.

No background checks in West Virginia ...

Republican runs unopposed for open seat in the WV legislature, wins, gets asked questions by his future coworkers after he gets caught lying about being a doctor and veteran, tells the legislature that the "angel Moroni" has ordered him to kill them, gets expelled before he can even take his seat.

It’s almost as if the Republicans aren’t sending our best and brightest to the legislature. What is not surprising is someone who lies and threatens violence was running as a Republican. Another toxically masculine paper Tough Guy MAGA nutter. Another victim of the Angel of Moroni! lol!

The dude was Jewish, who read the bible and stated he had visions from a Mormon angel. He needs to undergo a padded room type of evaluation. He's losing what little mind he may have.

Trump will appoint him "Field Marshall of Greenland".
