Good luck.

A new effort to discount and take down unexpected Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is now underway.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that a team of establishment Republicans is hatching plans for a "guerrilla" offensive against Trump before the business mogul gains more steam at the Iowa caucus scheduled for February 1.

Leading the effort is former Republican National Committee operative Liz Mair. Mair is calling her effort Trump Card LLC and she told the Journal that the group is "loosely organized and highly confidential" in an effort to attract high-rolling donors "who are very happy that their fingerprints will be kept off things.”

Rick Wilson, who has helped a new Rubio-supporting super PAC "Baby Got PAC" told the Journal he would also be involved in doing media work.

Originally viewed as a blip in a long campaign, Trump's lead now is the cause of irritation, confusion and deep concern among the GOP's establishment. Trump's continual calls to build a border wall, as well as his most recent call that U.S. Muslims should be put into a database, are eroding the party's efforts to appeal to minority voters who will be key for the party in a general election.

Yet this attempt is just the latest to attempt to upset Trump's lead. Fellow Republican presidential candidates from Jeb Bush to John Kasich have attacked Trump, and as the Wall Street Journal story noted, the Club For Growth – a powerful outside group that supports free market conservatives– also has broadcast ads decrying Trump across Iowa.

And a group called "Baby Got PAC" is now influencing national level US politics. SMH

Funny part is... they'll campaign all indignant like... over the very Patriot Act BS that they wholeheartedly support. Trump is a fascist and he doesn't hide it. They can't even look at themselves in the mirror.

Do Republican voters understand how dangerous their party is to America? It's struggling even to not nominate an open fascist as their presidential candidate.

It's really the only way to get the .01% to put the money back in the economy. Trickle down works!

Good ol' Super Pacs back to the rescue of those favored most by the elite.

So a small group of ultra-elite donors are going to try to use the Super Pac system to anonymously alter the course of American politics.

Democracy!

This sure is a weird republican campaign season.
This is the type pf campaign a party puts on when they are up against an incumbent president up for reelection.
When they know the chances are slim to nothing that they can win against the incumbent, so they toss out there people like Bob Dole or George McGovern or John Kerry.
Seems to me republicans know all too well Hillary is and will be incumbent to beat, even though she has never before actually been president, actually....

I can see where every other Repub in the running is looking down their noses at Trump, thinking that he is a walking talking joke and is making a mockery of their primary, while all the rest of them are thinking of themselves as too legit to quit.

The way I look at it, they're all in the same class of misfits and wanna-be's with Trump making the rest of them look like the fools they are for believing they have any chance of winning in the general.

Hells bells, even O'Malley looks to be a better offering than any of the Repubs in the running.

Oh please, Trump is the perfect GOP candidate - with the exception of dropping trou for Wall Street (on paper).

This is nothing more than buying some insurance for when Trump sets up concentration camps and the GOP wants to prove to America is wanted nothing to do with registering Muslims, building walls and sending women back to the kitchen.

Smart on them - but, its nothing more than covering their own ass than doing the right thing.

Since it's unlikely that Trump can get more than 20% of Hispanic votes, my bet is it's nigh impossible for him to win in the general election. Accordingly, I would root for Trump to prevail against his GOP foes.

Now Rubio, he could be a problem for Hilary. Let's see if their voters finally wise up or not.

I'm rooting for injuries on both sides...lol! Instead of trying to figure out how to take down Donny Boy, they should be kissing his ring because he is owning them. He is letting his freak flag fly and bringing out the worst in everything the right has to offer America, taking over their primary in the process. Party leaders created this monster and now it's coming back to eat them.

They have been their own worst enemies, all in the name of winning. Let them burn, they've earned it.

Good Trump will expose PACs more and forever talk about how corrupt PACs are to a large audience for years if he loses.

Liz Mair is a hack. She'll likely fail just as she did with Walker.

Only thing she has succeeded at is achieving the worst hair cut in politics. Hideous.
