This. Pro-life = anti-abortion, just like Pro choice = pro-abortion. Its that simple.
If a pregnant woman has a complication that if she carries to term she has a 75% chance of dying does the government step in a force her to have an abortion?

If she carries to term that is the definition of pro-choice. Pro-choice is NOT pro-abortion.

Why is he going on about a 5 minute old baby in a discussion about abortion?

He thinks it's going to net him a result different than all the other abortion threads he's posted in since 2007.

As always though, alt facts and christian pseudo science are poor surfaces on which to build. The results are extremely flimsy, even cartoonish at times. Those who champion it worry me, they're the kind of outraged culture warrior who think ends justify the means. That's the crowd that produces assassins, arsonists and stalkers, the kind where 'pastors' travel the country with dismembered fetus parts in ziplock bags to dazzle/steel the faithful and shock the unbeliever.

I'm starting to wonder if corona isn't Mother Nature's way of responding to the globe's abundance of religious dogma.

Elizabeth Warren said it best, "if you don't believe in abortion, don't have one"

Succinct and to the point.

Agreed, but that's a common refrain that's been around awhile. I have no idea who first opined it but it wasn't her. She has enough of her own hits though.

Republican governors who have finally issued stay at home orders have carved out exemptions for churches. So these so called Christians are free to meet in large groups, pass COVID-19 amongst themselves, go out into the community and infect others.

In a perfect world, anybody stupid enough to gather in a crowd of 100s, for ANY reason, will be too dead to vote in November.

Sometimes, ya just gotta step out of the way, and let Darwin do his thing.

That has become my response to those I know who are incredulous over this religious conservative apathy for pandemics. Some people are too proud or dumb to pick the humble pie over the hospital or morgue. Oh well. Trumpets are being pro-choice here and not even realizing it. I'll try not to lose sleep over many of them being unable to vote in the future.

I have no issues with churches continuing to hold services. But if they are going to become vectors of infection can we ask them to purchase appropriate health insurance for their members before they are allowed to hold those services?

I wonder if the anti-vaxxer crowd can be convinced to ignore all the corona health concerns and kill themselves off in record numbers. We might be able to get rid of Donald in November.

Another by product of COVID-19. More hypocrites are being exposed in real time. Actions by Republicans and evangelicals are proving their public pronouncements of being pro-life are pure bullshit.

Many prominent Republican leaders, conservative pundits have stated the elderly should be willing to sacrifice their lives for the sake of the economy obviously don't think their lives are precious.

By now everyone knows COVID-19 is highly infectious, asymptomatic and a mortality rate high as 40x the flu. Governors who have issues stay at home orders are having them flouted by churches who think they are too good to follow directives intended to save lives. These so called Christians don't seem to care if they cause the possible death of others.

Republican governors who have finally issued stay at home orders have carved out exemptions for churches. So these so called Christians are free to meet in large groups, pass COVID-19 amongst themselves, go out into the community and infect others.

None of this sounds very "pro-life" to me. Maybe that position is just a cudgel to wield political power vs what they really believe.

Might want to check your sources. Its not just Republican governors.
