Why wasn't this already being done in the first place

Politicians kick back and take LIMO rides from one side of capitol hill to the other and vote for payraises all the time while our soldiers get kicked in the gut and don't even have enough body armor to safely defend their lives

There is probably more of that type of thing that goes on than we know.

Perhaps the money gets released sooner or something.

I live in Oregon and Lars Larson (on his local show) asked his callers if any of them could HELP PAY for the flight home for an Oregon Serviceman who was stuck overseas but wanted to come home to see his Mother.. Some special lady called in and said she would pay for the whole round trip.. really touched my heart..

body armor probably wouldn't help much when then enemy is mostly using bombs and AP bullets from AK-47's. armor might help from bomb shrapnel but for the most part the bombs are huge and dentonated at point blank

although Ceradyne (prime maker of body armor) still has their stock at all time highs last time i checked

Actually the body armor has helped a great deal.
