If the other party accepts then yes, that's all it takes. If the other party doesn't accept then no contract exists. Folks should give it a try on CC applications. Cross out the language about no alterations to the form, add in a bit about better rewards and no interest. I bet the CC companies don't read the executed forms anymore than most borrowers do.

Anyone who has stood on stage understands how hot it is. In politics the first thing I think if is Kennedy vs Nixon. Quite frankly trying to ban a fan is a dirty tactic and it back fired on him.

The contract said no electronics as in phones, PDAs, iPads, recording devices, etc. a fan is not an electronic device. Basically, Scott won in a close election in 2010 because his opponent Alex Sink was caught looking at her phone during a debate. It was a very close election and that debate controversy worked in Scott's favor. I assume he thought he could pull the same thing against Crist and feign outrage. It obviously backfired against Scott and now his camp has backtracked.

Yeah, the Kennedy vs Nixon debate came to mind. I suspected that Scott didn't want to be the only 'sweaty' one on stage.

It's not clear to me that Scott wanted fans banned. It seems he didn't want to be the only without one.

I have no idea why fans would be banned.
