And here's where your facts are flawed. What you are referring to is INCOME taxes, not all taxes. There are lots of other taxes that all Americans pay plenty of, like Social Security, Medicare, gas taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, etc. etc.

Furthermore, illegal immigrants pay quite a lot of the same kinds of taxes as well (depending on how their work situation is set up), and a significant percentage of them pay into social security, etc that they will never be able to collect.

Sales tax revenues are insignificant compared to income tax revenues. Many states don't even have one. Income tax really is the most significant tax out there.

And honestly do you really think those meager sales taxes generate sufficient revenue to pay for illegals' large families and poor health at hospitals?

The bottom line is that third-world peasants aren't able generate enough wealth to pay for first-world government.

This is a federal program using federal dollars collected through federal income taxes in which the bottom 50% of people pay around 3% of total taxes collected. The bottom 40% pay near 0%.

I am opposed to government schools feeding children junk food instead of good food. If you do a job, do it well. I am more opposed to government feeding children outside of school hours. If parents are not able to feed their own children, in our society with generous food stamp allotments, they are not parents. Either they are totally incompetent, or they are merely ranching children for government checks. Either way, government incrementally taking on more of the parenting is not the issue. If parents are unwilling to feed their children, we need to take away ALL the parenting. If nothing else, these kids would be better off in well-run, faith-based orphanages than with "parents" who are being paid for the food to feed them but can't be bothered to do so.
