Trump is struggling (and often failing) to get approval from half of poll respondents in the midst of the pandemic. You know, when you'd think a President would get more cross-party support (like Bush Jr. did in the immediate aftermath of 9/11). If he can't manage that, he's not a unifying force.

When you say "we," what you really mean is "diehard Trump loyalists." When you say "mainstream media," what you really mean is "any outlet that doesn't fellate Trump" (because you clearly don't count Fox as part of the mainstream). But Trump drones are not the majority; a win is far from inevitable, and most general election polling favors Biden over Trump.

The irony is amusing, really. Conservatives were blasting liberals for the hubris of assuming Clinton would win in 2016, but in 2020 it's the conservatives who are overly presumptive, acting as if Trump had really been voted ruler for life and that November was just a formality. You know the expression "karma's a bitch?" Remember that before you delude yourself into thinking people worship Trump as slavishly as you.

"Hoax", that word represents something that was "made up", I guess you missed out on the testimony that came out during the entire investigation, it was quite damming.
