I'll agree on the e6300 having issues booting past 433MHz, I am running at 430 ATM and have seemed to hit a brick wall. :(

Yeah thats why I suggest at least a 8x, preferably 9x or better multiplier to get maximum potential from your chip. I think the passive HS on top of 975x may be to small to get those really insane 500+Mhz clocks we see with some boards.. but I wouldnt run any board that high 24/7 plus the e4300 is out there now making a e6300 purchase obsolete.

I was in MicroCenter in St. Davids, PA on Sunday and they had a stack of the Bad Axe 2 boards. I believe they were $175 and change. I also think their promotion ends soon.

Seriously the DS3 in your huckleberry. Only $110 at new egg full SS caps and regularly supported. It's sorta the "killer app" of 775 although I had little luck with my ballistix in her.
