Instead of a rear window, SYNUS has a gigantic widescreen liquid crystal display in the tailgate. It's the largest flat screen LCD ever mounted in a vehicle, and with it passengers can surf the Internet or watch movies. Or, via cameras, passengers can watch what's going on outside the vehicle. While the SYNUS is moving, the display works with the cameras to function as the vehicle's rear window. By looking in the rearview mirror, the driver can see a high-definition closed-circuit image of what's behind the vehicle.
