The Accord remains the best car in this segment, but it keeps its title by just a few points.

The 2004 Chevy Malibu is a contender.

that's what they said about the last one. i think motortrend even named it car of the year.. that made me sure that those awards were paid for.. malibus were made to be rentals. i don't know anyone that actually owns one

I hate to poop on GM, but if I can get 25% more horsepower with 85% of the displacement, who gives a shard about whether a tank of gas is going to cost $1.50 more?

Regular unleaded.

I believe the only Honda that requires premium unleaded is the S2000. I could be wrong, though.
 
Some GM guy in my apt. complex has one right now. It really is not an attractive vehicle. Looks like a Kia, IMHO.
