I am far from an english expert, but enough is enough. Why do people feel the need to correct others spelling or grammar errors? Is it just to get a postcount, or are you really trying to help?

I think you should PM somebody if you feel the need to correct them, not in the thread itself. It is like making fun of somebody in front of their business partners or class.

Oh, and screaming "repost!" does nothing. You should do a search before posting anything IMHO. The problem is sometimes people do not include what the actual post is about in the thread title. My favorite saying was in somebodies thread once, they said "I did a search and did not find anything, so shut your repost-piehole" LOL

Is it just me?

(this is a repost, right?)

I do it sometimes to help. Nothing screams "ignorance" to me as much as these simple errors that someone should have learned not to make in grade school. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I totally agree about the repost thing, and infact I have even replied to similar messages. I struggle to see why people care if something is being reposted.. and you are right, everyone now checks so much before they post cause they don't wanna get flamed for reposting. god, it's sad.. no need to worry yourself over a repost.. BLAH. about the spelling, I correct people at times, not always... I guess cause I am trying to help, I dont know...
