I wanted to report a very pleasant (so far) experience with Antec concerning a $20 Rebate on the purchase of their SX830 case.
Last December 1st I called Antec Customer Service to verify that the offered $20 Rebate would apply to more than one case if I purchased two from The Outpost in order to get the FREE SHIPPIING. I was told that YES I would get a $20 Rebate for each of the two cases I planned on buying. The deal would have been nixed if I would have been told anything else.
Well, it took a long time but last Friday or Saturday I received a $20 Rebate from TCA Fulfillment Services. There was only one. I figured I?d wait a few days for the second to arrive even though they were mailed in together. Well when there was no second check yesterday I decided to call the 800 Rebate support line. I couldn?t get through ? the line was busy all day. I tried again about an hour ago and got their phone to ring. I never got to talk to a person but they referred me to their website. The website showed the two Rebates. Only problem was that one of them was DENIED due to a limit of ONE. :|
I called Antec Customer Service and spoke to STEVE. After explaining to him my situation he had me hold on for a while and then asked me if it would be all right if he called me back in a little while. I said OK.
About 10 minutes later I get a phone call from STEVE who told me that he was the one that spoke to me back in December and he remembered telling me that I would be entitled to two Rebates. (I had no idea with whom I spoke back in December and was expecting to be asked that question. I need to start making notes about phone calls such as this from now on.). He admitted that he was under the impression that there was no limit on the number of rebates and only found out that there was a limit some time later. He said he was going to speak to his supervisor and see if he could get me the rebate.
Now, I don?t know if I?m going to get the $20 Rebate to which I am entitled but I have to tip my hat to STEVE and his honesty. That says a lot about Antec as a company to me.

Edit: Sorry, I meant this as a reply to the REBATE THREAD but got mixed up after composing it and placed it in the wrong place. If a MOD would move it I would be appreciative.
