"When you look at total safety, this is a very, very safe vehicle," Adler said.
In rollover tests, the Ford Ranger and the Mazda B-Series fared worst among a list of pickups with four-wheel drive. The trucks received two out of five stars and had a 30.6 percent chance of rollover, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

I wonder how Hoda's new fullsize will do in the tests
Hmmm, maybe that has something to do with the fact that if it doesn't meet or exceed the federal safety standard, you CAN'T sell it to the public?"Each and every vehicle that we sell to the public, without fail, meets or exceeds the federal safety standard," Barnes said.

not as ugly as your mom.
seriously though, i dont think the ridgeline will be selling to traditional truck buyers. how many texans and midwesterners are going to buy a japanese car, even if it turns out to be much better than american trucks? if its a success, its because people who dont normally buy trucks get them.
then again, how do i explain the success of the nissan titan? i think i just killed my whole point.
