Would be nice to see the screen size increase on the next iPhone. 3.5" is just too small for my tastes. A phone with a 4" screen can fit in your pocket perfectly as long as there isn't too much bezel.

I'd like to see an edge-to-edge screen on it as I like the size of the current iPhone. I can easily turn it horizontally in a breast pocket, which means it won't fall out! :) Falling phone = not so good.

+1 on hoping body stays the same size but they update screen size.

Will buy immediately if so.

Eh, if the screen isn't bigger I won't be buying, going from my X to the wifes iphone4 isn't fun to me..maybe i'll preorder and sell it @ full price and keep my X lol

I'm sure we'll see a slight screen bump, hell anything is better than tiny 3.5" but like said in the article, I don't see it being a huge bump to something like 4".

I'll be tempted to use my upgrade on one just to resell it for profit. The Galaxy S2 better come to Verizon soon...

It's not like increasing the screen size to 4" would make the phone unmanageably large.

If they want to keep the same size as the ip4 then I think the max they can do is 3.7". And that is with the l/r bezle being on the edge. The top and bottom cant really stretch edge to edge unless apple wants some weird screen ratio.

I'm likely to buy it regardless to give the platform a try but would love to see a larger screen.

Are you kidding me? The two phones are night and day in size. Throw on a case on the Nexus S and it's huge because nothing really handles the curve well enough. Not to mention there aren't even high quality cases. My Incase slider case destroys any Nexus S case I've bought. It's frustrating.

Anyhow bezel helps because of how you hold the phone. Do you want your hand skin hitting random buttons? Going all the way to the edge for a screen isn't necessarily the best. The iPhone 4 isn't too big, and it can use a size AND screen bump.

I'm hoping they don't make it any thinner because any thinner and it gets difficult to hold.

I'm really hoping for the screen size increase. It may or may not be a deal breaker upgrade from my 3GS

My two-year contract on my 3GS ends this month. If an iPhone 6 comes out early 2012, not sure if it will worth upgrading to the 5, especially if it doesn't support 4G LTE and doesn't have a 4" screen.

Possibly time to maybe switch to an Andriod. Wish Apple could update the iPhone more quickly, with the resources they have, they should be able to.

Once a year is fine. If they released more frequently people would always be waiting for the "next" version and wouldnt enjoy it now.

That's a big if. I don't look for another iPhone in early 2012. At the earliest they will go back to their June/July time frame. Everyone assumed Apple was going to release the 5 on there yearly schedule and look how well that worked out. They just aren't going to release another one six months later. I just don't see Apple ever releasing more than one phone a year. If you want an iPhone get the 5, otherwise make the move to Android. Banking on the 6 to come out in early 2012 is just going to end with you using an old phone for much longer than you want.

Warning for thread crapping
We don't need another Andoid vs. iPhone war here. He offered his opinion which was on-topic. I personally would have preferred more details on why he thinks that... but it's on topic. Posting a bunch of Android phones in an iPhone thread is not on topic. Jihad and Cheezy please stay on topic and cease with the trolling.
