Replying to archived messages impossible?

I was going to reply to a message about 3-4 months old (it's been archived), but there was no quick reply box at the bottom nor was there a link to launch a new reply window. Seems very similar to threads that have been locked....there was no way to reply.

I don't think I've ever tried to reply to an already archived message, so I don't think it's a bug. Obviously, it's not a big deal, but just something I was unaware of.

That's a feature, not a bug. 😉

Some forum software lets you reply to archived messages, but Fusetalk does not.

It's not impossible. Someone replied to a 4 yr old thread by Texmaster. When I asked how it was done, the mods deleted the thread!

someone replied to a message on "the rock" from WWE that was about a few years old too, I don't know how they did it.
