I was looking at some replica Oakleys at Zybergear and was wondering if anyone has ever bought any replica Oakleys. I remember reading something about them looking exactly the same as the real ones, but want to know if the newer ones look as good. Also, are they very good quality?

This Link has some interesting info about cheap vs. expensive sunglasses. my eyes are VERY sensitive to sunlight, i have horrible vision, and i'm partially colorblind, so i try to take extremely good care of my eyes. i'd shell out the $120 for a decent pair of oakleys and not try to fool myself into thinking i'm getting the same protection with a $5 of drug store specials.

I have some expensive Killer Loop and Gargoyle sunglasses, I just wanted to see if these were any good. They say they have UV protection, but they could be lying. Anyone that has them, do the lenses work very good at keeping the sun out of your eyes?

Ive had a couple pairs of foakleys...never had any problems and they look very authentic. some are made so well the only way to tell is by smashing the lenses, which defeats the purpose anyways.

omg, i had some foakleys.. i thought they were ok.. until i put on a real pair... what a dif. this was the a-wires.. dunno how the plastic frames feel.. but never again.. no more foakleys.

however, my unfortunate self found it to be a bit too expensive to get them polarized + Rx.. so i sold em. Plus, i started not really liking the a-wire style on me.

I buy Foakleys a lot, the $20 kind on the street from the real sleazy guy who holds them all in his trenchcoat.

Hey...that smilie is rather appropriate.

I've seen people selling fakes on the side of the road for as little as 15$ a pair ,3 for 30$.They look like real pos,my eyes are more important to me I'll gladly pay 125$ for the real thing.
