ReplayTV questions

If i have one replayTV unit hooked up to my main tv (living room w/ digital cable box) Can i have another replayTV unit in my bedroom WITHOUT service.

Both will be hooked up to my router through ethernet, can i still access recorded shows on unit#2 if i don't have service?

Short answer, no. The newer units will not function, even as a digital VCR, after the grace period expires AFAIK.

i dont know, but why would you buy another replay just to do that, you can get one of the wireless AV transmitters that can also send remote control signals and have it sent to your bedroom
